New Year, New Beginnings

Have you ever waited for something, for what felt like all of eternity?  Maybe it was a dream, a calling, a vision unfulfilled.  Did you ever give up hope that it might never come to pass?  Or happen in the time frame that you had scheduled in the Day Planner of your life?  What if, you thought it was too late for it to happen 'cause you were "old" or past the "prime time" of opportunity.

Yet, when that moment that you been waiting for, has crested on the horizon and you hear God whisper in your ear... "Now is the time"...that all of a sudden your mouth feels dry, your heart begins to beat faster, and the dawning realization that your life is about to change radically. What do you do?

Well, you grab and hold tight to your Saviour's hand, take a deep breath and say " Its you and me God.  There's no turning back.  Let's GO!!!"

Our family is about to embark on a journey that will change our lives forever!  We are excited and nervous all at the same time.   Humbled that God would call us to serve Him.
" You're my servant, serving on my side.  I've picked you...I'm with you.  There's no need to fear for I'm your God.  I'll give you strength.  I'll help you.  I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you."
Isa 41:9-10

In those moments of doubt we are assured through His promises that He will:
"Keep in perfect peace the mind that is dependent on Him, for it trusts in You" or as its worded in the MSG version  "People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole.  Steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don't quit.  Depend on God and keep at it because in the Lord God you have a sure thing."
Isa 26:3

Eyes on
the cross
No looking back
Don't look to the right or to the left
Keep your eyes fixed on the Saviour
Who leads the way
Hold tight
to his Hand
For He
knows
the way
And He
will never
let you go!
